Site: Located at the southerly edge of Gardnerville, Nevada, this three-acre site is home to Evergreen Gardnerville Health and Rehabilitation Center, a 60-bed skilled nursing facility.
Challenge: R.O. Anderson was selected to perform a survey adhering to the strict standards of the American Land Title Association and American Congress of Surveying and Mapping while maintaining a narrow time frame in order to meet our client’s needs. Because the site is an operating facility, our team was able to locate all site improvements including the existing 27,000 square-foot building, pavement, parking, landscaping and above-ground utilities while the facility continued it normal operations.
Solution: Our team’s long history and knowledge of the initial development of the commercial park containing this parcel enabled our crew to hit the ground running with the primary project control. R.O. Anderson’s past design and familiarity of the underground utilities provided a strong base for the project. Utilizing a one-person
GPS team while coordinating with our office personnel, we were able to effectively and efficiently complete the ALTA/ACSM survey within the specified time limits.
